Our Terms and Conditions

We are looking forward to welcoming you and helping you make great memories! By booking any of our stays or experiences, you enter into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions below before booking.

General terms and conditions

Definitions
  1. The organization: Outdoor Experience Sweden and its staff.
  2. The guest(s): The person or persons who booked a Stay or Experience with the organization.
  3. Cancellation: Written (i.e. email) notice by the guest(s) to the organization prior to arrival date.
  4. Arrival date: The date on which an Experience would take place.
Own risk
  1. Participating with any of the experiences and the rental of any equipment are entirely at the guest(s) own risk. We recommend all guests to have their own personal travel / medical insurance. The organization shall not be liable for any accident, loss of health or death of guests or participants.
  2. Organization is not responsible for damage and/or loss of personal belongings, nor for any bodily injuries.
  3. Organization is not responsible for any damage or injuries inflicted by the guest(s) on third parties or their properties.

 

Reservations
  1. Reservation requests for Experiences can be submitted through the online forms on our website or via email.
  2. Receipt of reservation requests will be confirmed by the organization in writing (i.e. through email) within 2 days.
  3. The booking is binding after payment. You are obligated to provide all correct information required for the reservation procedure.
  4. By payment, you accept our terms and conditions. English version of terms and conditions is binding.

Cancellation by the organization

  1. In case the organization is forced to cancel a reservation for any reason, the full amount of the reservation’s price will be refunded.
  2. Organization’s liability will not extend beyond these conditions.
 
Prices
  1. The organization preserves the right to change any of the prices listed on their website at any given moment in time.
  2. Previously booked Experiences will not be affected by price change.
  3. Prices on the website are listed in Swedish crowns. In case guest(s) chose to pay in Euro’s, a 1 to 10 exchange rate will be used (i.e. 1 Euro equals 10 Swedish crowns).
General data protection regulation – GDPR
  1. We store your booking information in order to make a contract, invoice and communicate with you during the contract period.

Experiences and rental: Additional terms and conditions

Payment
 
  1. Depending on the activity, the organization charges a deposit or a total payment at the time of booking.
  2. The full amount can be paid in cash or by card* at the beginning of the experience or can be paid to our bank account in advance.

 

*Card payments incline an additional fee of 10sek

Cancellation policy
  1. Unless otherwise agreed, the following cancellation policy applies:
    1. Experiences can be canceled free of charge up to 3 days (72 hours) before the booked date. 
    2. For cancellations received between 72 and 24 hours before the booked date, 50% of the full price will be charged. 
    3. For cancellation within 24 hours from the booked date the full amount will be charged
  2. To avoid confusion, we require written notice of cancellation by email to info@outdoorexperiencesweden.com. The refund will be made within 14 days. We will not refund payments or cancel booking if the weather conditions are unsatisfactory to the guest(s). We may be able to rebook if you contact us in advance (up to our availability).
  3. The organization reserves the right to make changes to the schedule or to cancel any rental or tour due to health, safety and weather conditions. In this case we offer rebooking for your activity or a full refund. Rebooking can be made within 1 year.
Hiking experiences
  1. The organization merely provides directions and information during the hikes. No rights can be derived from the provided information.
  2. The organization cannot be held responsible for injuries sustained during any of the hikes.​
Food
  1. Guest(s) are responsible for providing full and correct information about allergies and other dietary concerns.
  2. The organization cannot be held responsible for health problems occurring after consumption of the food provided by the organization.
Wild camping equipment
  1. Guests must show a valid ID-card or passport to sign the rental contract.
  2. The organization merely provides equipment and guidance. No rights can be derived from any of the information provided by the organization.
  3. Guest(s) are fully responsible for their actions during the rental period.
  4. The organization cannot be help responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, nor for injuries sustained by guest(s) or inflicted on third parties or their properties.
  5. In case of damage to the rented equipment, organization has the right to withhold the full amount of the deposit paid by the guest(s).
Canoe & SUP rental
  1. Guests must show a valid ID-card or passport to sign the rental contract.
  2. When a guest books any water activity they must be able to swim.
  3. Guests must wear a life vest (included in the rental) all the time on the water.
  4. Planning of tours are the responsibility of guests and should be done considering their skill level and weather conditions. Tour plans must be communicated with the organization.
  5. Delays must be reported to the organization as soon as possible via call +4670 7166 835. Late returns will be charged an additional 80 SEK / 30 minutes.
  6. Guests must bring their own communication aid (phone/VHF).
  7. The guests must obey and understand the right of public access.
  8. The canoe, SUP and all equipment must be returned in the same condition as when collected. Any damage will be charged.
  9. The guest is responsible for damages and loss of equipment. Check your home- or travel insurance to find out how you are covered when renting a gear.
